Bourbons are a large family composed of Arabica varietals. Within this family we find the Rose Bourbon, which is a hybrid between the
Yellow Bourbon and the Red Bourbon. It is known for being a “high altitude coffee”, which means that it is usually cultivated at altitudes of approximately 1,600 to 2,400 meters above sea level. The Rose Bourbon is distinguished for being a full-bodied coffee with penetrating aromas and sweetness and is catalogued as one of the most coveted varietals in the market of specialty and exotic coffees, as its quality and difficult cultivation have led it to earn its place in the market.
