FRENCHPRESS
COFFEE

The first models evidenced in the world emerged in France, as its name indicates, in the mid-nineteenth century. However, the Italians were in charge of patenting the French press as close as possible to what we know it today. This distinguished process, used worldwide, consists of the preparation using a press or metal mesh filter, which is immersed with coffee and water, separating the residues from the ground coffee. Unlike the Chemex, the French press preserves the oils in its preparation, leaving a denser coffee and highlighting its aromas.

INGREDIENTS & UTENSILS

French press, sized according to your preference

12g of medium or coarse grind Entorno coffee per 100ml.

Water temperature between 92-96 °C (197.6-204.8°F).

PREPARATION

Preheat your press with hot water, then pour it into your cup.

Tip your coffee into the press and give it a gentle shake to level the grounds.

Add the water in a circular motion until the press is half full.

Stir with a spoon for 30 seconds.

Add more water to the top of the press and add the lid, gently resting the plunger on the grounds.

Wait 4 minutes, then slowly push the plunger down.

Enjoy your Entorno coffee!
