CHEMEX COFFEE

Chemex is a worldwide recognized utensil for elaborating coffee used by baristas and coffee lovers. It was created by the German Peter Schlumbohm, who focused his research on a dripping or filtering process.

The success of this process is due to the final result on the components of the coffee, highlighting its aromas, conserving its body, and filtering the oils that are saved in the ground bean.

INGREDIENTS & UTENSILS

Chemex CoffeeMaker

Chemex filter

18g of medium or coarse grind Entorno coffee per 100ml.

Water temperature between 92-96 °C (197.6-204.8 °F)

PREPARATION

Unfold the Chemex filter so that three layers cover the spout.

Tip your Entorno coffee into the filter and give it a gentle shake to level the grounds.

Pour just a few drops of water to saturate the grounds.

Stir the grounds to ensure no clumps, and let it bloom for 30 seconds.

Add more water with a circular motion until it nears the top of the Chemex. Allow the water level to lower, then add the remaining water. Wait 3 - 4 minutes until the coffee finishes draining.

Enjoy your Entorno coffee!
